Residents have joined together to form the Greenlink Community Development Group. We are volunteers from the local area who dedicate their spare time to improving the Greenlink environment for the good of the whole community. Since the Group was constituted on 14th February 2006 they have made an incredible difference to the area.

Funding Secured!

Community Development News We have recently secured funding for creating a mini-orchard and wildflower meadow within Forgewood Nursery!
Harry Crossan (GCDG Treasurer) says "All the pieces are falling into place now; work will be starting soon and hopefully the kids will be eating fruit from the orchard in the next few years."

This funding matched the donation for the project from the ASDA Foundation (picture below)

Thanks again to Joanne Shaw and Leslie Orr from ASDA's Motherwell Store for their great help and support for the Greenlink!
